Holeve continues to expand its catalog of experiences with the start of the HONKAI BOND TEST: NEXUS ANIMA, the closed test of its new title for PC and mobile devices. This closed beta period, which will be available until September 23, 2025, not only allows a group of players to explore the game’s mechanics and universe for the first time. It also arrives accompanied by special rewards and the premiere of a new animated trailer dedicated to UMPURRELLA, one of the most peculiar animæ revealed to date.
Rewards available in Honkai: Nexus Anima
The Bond Test Its objective is to test the basic systems of the game and give early feedback to the development team. To incentivize those who participate, Hoyovers included two Supply Drops that are delivered as the player progresses in the beta.
The first reward is unlocked upon completion of the mission “Repair the Aspect Fracture” and consists of five Protean Pills, a useful resource within this phase. The second is linked to the progression system: by reaching the Level 30, players receive 3000 Aspect Gems. This is one of the most important coins in the Honkai: Nexus Anima game.
However, as is often the case in this type of test, all advances and objects obtained will be deleted at the end of the beta. For this reason, rewards can only be enjoyed during this short period.
A special trailer for Umpurrella
Along with the start of the beta, Hoyoverse presented the animated trailer “Watersong: A Sea of Flowers”, starring UMPURRELLA. This Anima has an unusual design: it combines a feline look with the shape of an umbrella.
The short shows the relationship between Umpurrella and his human partner. A young woman who has learned to modify her lifestyle because her animates, curiously, hates the rain. This adds a unique touch to the Honkai: Nexus story.
The story reaches an emotional moment when the disposition of Umpurrella is revealed. She is willing to protect her owner even in situations that are uncomfortable. Thus, it conveys the essence of the bond between animæ and humans.
New characters joining the cast
This new character joins a growing cast that already includes creatures like Bobabirb, Cublade, Foalhardy and Scorscythe. Each one has unique skills and styles. This reinforces the idea that the relationship with the animæ will be a central pillar in the gameplay and narrative of Honkai: Nexus Anima.
With this beta, HoyOverse seeks to generate expectations and collect key information before the official launch. the universe of HONKAI It has been characterized by its narrative loaded with drama, memorable characters and constantly evolving mechanical. Everything points to Nexus Anima will follow that tradition. At the same time, it introduces a new system of companions that promises to deepen the relationship between player and Anima.
