The study Mappa, responsible for some of the most impressive animations of the last decade, celebrates its fifteenth anniversary this year, and is doing it in a big way. The first of three special commemorative visuals has already been revealed, and features Reze, one of the most beloved characters in Chainsaw Man.
Fifteen years of MAPPA, held with Chainsaw Man
This year marks the fifteenth anniversary of the study Mappa, one of the most influential animation houses in contemporary anime, responsible for productions that defined the last decade of the medium. To commemorate the date, the study prepared a series of announcements and special content that will progressively reveal itself through a website dedicated exclusively to the celebration.

Who created the new art of Reze
The new visual was illustrated by Shoichi, who served as animation director in the film. The creative process behind the piece included Misaki Nakano In digital painting, Taichi Uchima in the background work, and Yusuke Tannawa As a composition artist, the same technical team responsible for the visual quality that characterized the film in theaters.
The study confirmed that this is only the first of three visuals that will be revealed as part of the celebrations, which maintains the expectation of the active fandom in the coming weeks.
