Shidou Itsuka, a high school student who lives with his younger sister Kotori, lives an apparently normal life until a space earthquake endangers the security of Tengu city. Soon Shidou engages in a fight between the girl and the anti-spirit team, an attack force whose goal is to eliminate the spirits. However, there is a third group that believes in the salvation of spirits: ‘Ratatoskr’, led by Shidou’s younger sister.
Kotori forces his brother to join the group after the confrontation and presents him with an alternative method to deal with the danger that the spirits represent: make them fall in love with him.
