When does the new season of Dandadan anime premiere?
Although there are many fans who continue with the story from the manga, there is also a large part of the followers who stay on top of it thanks to their animated adaptation. And although the first part has finished a while ago, there is good news for those who follow it. And it is that the Dandadan’s new season will officially premiere on July 3, 2025. So fans won’t have to wait long to see the story of Momo and Okarun again.

For those who don’t know, DANDATE It is a Japanese manga created and illustrated by Yukinobu Tatsu. Before launching his own work, Tatsu worked as an assistant to Tatsuki Fujimoto (Chainsaw Man) and Yuji Kaku (Jigokuraku). The series began to be published on April 6, 2021 through the Shonen Jump+ platform from the Shueisha publishing house. Quickly, he captured the attention of the public thanks to his original proposal and the fusion of different genres. In November 2023, its adaptation to the anime was announced, which is being produced by the Science Saru studio.
The plot revolves around Momo Ayase, a high school student who firmly believes in the supernatural, and Okarun, a somewhat nerdy companion who is fascinated with aliens, but doubts the existence of the paranormal. After an argument between the two, they decide to check which of their beliefs is more real. Momo heads to a site famous for alien sightings, while Okarun visits a place with a reputation for being haunted. To the surprise of both, they end up discovering that their worlds were more real than they imagined, and they are dragged into a chain of supernatural situations that include both encounters with ghosts and with beings from other planets.
