Samsung has confirmed that its new line of televisions and monitors 2025 will integrate natively Microsoft Copilot, the Redmond company’s artificial intelligence assistant. With this movement, the South Korean firm seeks to take the AI experience beyond mobile devices or the PC, turning the salon screen into a true center of productivity, learning and entertainment.

La IA de Microsoft llega a monitores y TVs de Samsung

The news marks a strategic step on Samsung’s path towards an ecosystem of smart displays, driven by Samsung Vision AI and collaboration with top-level technology partners.

A natural evolution in the Smart TV experience

For almost two decades, Samsung has positioned itself as a global leader in the manufacture of televisions. However, competition is no longer limited to size or image quality. Today, the real differentiator is in the intelligent functions, and it is here where the integration of Copilot makes sense.

In practice, users will be able to invoke CoPilot via voice commands or from the remote control. This not only simplifies tasks like searching for content or asking quick questions, but it opens the door to much broader experiences: learning a language while watching a series, receiving news summaries, understanding complex concepts with visual explanations, or even planning a dinner at home without leaving the TV interface.

CoPilot as digital partner

The vision of Microsoft and Samsung is clear: turning AI into a Digital companion in the living room. David Washington, CEO of Microsoft AI, summarized it directly by pointing out that CoPilot is not designed solely as a functional tool, but as a shared support that encourages interaction between household members.

This means that, in addition to answering questions or recommending series, AI can also serve to plan a family trip, look for cultural information during a conversation or facilitate learning dynamics for the little ones. Everything, without the need to resort to a smartphone.

Beyond Bixby: A Connected AI

Samsung already had Bixby as an integrated assistant in its televisions, but the addition of CoPilot significantly expands the possibilities. Now, users will have access to an advanced conversational language model, which is complemented by Samsung Daily+, the lifestyle hub that centralizes applications and services related to wellness, kitchen, entertainment and more.

In this way, CoPilot can be accessed both from the main menu of Tizen os like from Daily+. Some of the more practical uses include:

  • Personalized Recommendations of Series and Movies according to user habits.
  • Instant data about actors or athletes that appear on the screen.
  • clear summaries of articles or academic texts, useful for students.
  • Language support, with translations and explanations in real time.
  • daily planning, such as creating shopping lists or suggesting recipes.

Implications for the screen market

Copilot’s integration into the 2025 range is not a minor detail. It represents a change of focus in which screens cease to be a means of passive consumption to become a Interactive knowledge and productivity platforms.

In a context where users are looking for increasingly versatile devices, Samsung is at the forefront by offering a proposal that combines high-quality hardware, an open ecosystem and the support of Microsoft Artificial Intelligence.
